As far as I can see, the Eastern boundary of Israel is the Euphrates and the Western boundary is the Mediterranean Sea. Any part of that land that is not within the current State of Israel is occupied territory, i.e. occupied mainly by Israel's enemies. I think God described the above boundaries at least twice.

I was saved 31st January 1989 and over the years have read my bible cover to cover, I am unashamedly a Christian who due to the bible as written, and history believe Israel is back in her Promised Land. Thus I am a follower of Jesus, Yeshuah and am a Zionist. I have thankfully over the years come under the teaching of some inspired faithful teachers such as David Pawson, David Forbes, Chuck Missler etc. May I suggest Paul Wilkinson who exposes christian palestinianism a flawed emotive movement that twists, distorts and even rejects certain passages of scripture. They have a root of bitterness which can defile many and often embrace terrorists. Often present propaganda against Israel. I can not go along with that and replacement theology. May the Lord give wisdom.

Jock, your use of the term "annex" is inapt. Natasha Hausdorff, barrister-at-law, has made a compelling case that the rule of international law known as uti possidetis juris is the default rule for determining the boundaries of newly independent states. In the absence of an agreement to the contrary, the pre-independence administrative boundary of a colonial or mandate territory automatically become the boundaries of the new state. Thus, the sovereign territory of the State of Israel is the whole and entire territory of the former Mandate Palestine and has been so since 14 May 1948. It follows that the invasion and occupation by Jordan and Egypt of the Gaza Strip and of Judea and Samaria was an act of aggression and illegal in international law. The de facto alteration of the status of these territories and their alienation from Israel cannot be given legal recognition.

I am puzzled by this emphasis on 'replacement theology'. None of those whom I have read and listened to, pointing out the injustice and discrimination by Israeli courts and military authorities during the past 50 years, have believed that the Christian church has replaced Israel in God's purposes. The immediate question is whether, in defiance of the sentiments expressed by the Israeli Declaration of Independence, Israel has any God-sanctioned right to annexe and occupy territory in the way it is doing, i.e. whether it is right to cite, say, God's instruction to Joshua to occupy the land as justification for overt bad treatment of Palestinians and covert bad treatment of Arab Israeli citizens. The bigger question behind is this: did the coming of Christ, did the teaching of Paul about the 'Israel of God' do nothing to make us interpret the irrevocable 'gift and calling of Israel' in a more inclusive way, as (to give one example) binationalists would do?
